Westminster Church

Gilbert completed this Design/Assist project with AKF Group for the historic Westminster Church in Minneapolis. The addition consisted of a new Performance Hall, Gathering Space, Meeting Rooms and a build-out for Westminster’s community partner, St. David’s Center.
The mechanical systems included a rainwater collection system that served non-potable plumbing fixtures as well as a rooftop garden. Most cooling equipment in the existing building was upgraded in conjunction with the installation of systems for the addition. An Alerton Building Automation System was also installed to control all new mechanical systems.
